Projects and Research
The MSU EDA University Center for Regional Economic Innovation is a project whose main goal of the REI Ecosystem is to build economically-vibrant communities and regions that encourage high-growth entrepreneurial development. I collaborated with a team to do a content analysis of their existing website and content.
One of the most rewarding research projects I have worked on was a comprehensive communications strategy for The Ave community project. A fantastic and gifted team worked on this project together, using various methods of research over a span of two months to develop this communications strategy for the "Ave."
My team member and I worked to research and collaborate the working system of Joomla, that is globally used as a website platform for businesses, universities, and medical institutions. Our in depth research elaborated on all of the different components that make up this system with visuals and data packed into a report for commercial understanding.
My team member and I worked to research and report the API system of the ever so faceted Twitter social media platform. We used their official documentation and web analysis skills to get down to the nitty-gritty of how the system functions and how their API system works to interact amongst different platforms, whether on your laptop, mobile, or Ipad device.
In technical writing, it is important to have a clear understanding of different software’s and databases that you may have to learn and work with. As Linux is one of the most infamous and highly used software systems around the world, I researched Oracle which is a particular strand of that software, which is used in multiple businesses and institutions for database and website development. It is an evaluation of why it is used, who uses it, its purpose and its functions.
As a group study I collaborated with two team members to help revise the international students CPT forms for MSU. We did an evaluation of the forms and met with several international students to research what components were effective and which weren’t. After careful study and research we sent the OISS a set of recommendations to rework the current forms to make them as effective as possible, we did this by demonstrating revisions to make them useful, readable, and efficient.
